This Quick Start will answer all of your Questions.

Popup Begone works with Internet Explorer and Run automatically by itself when you open
up your Web Browser.  When you get the program, it is already setup for you.

Popup Begone V2.0 Main Screen

METHOD #4 - Just double click on Popup Begone icon and take the Check
Mark out of Enable Popup Begone and then click OK.

There are 5 Different Methods to receive a Popup you want.   The Allow List
will be talked about later in this Quick Guide. Choose a method that
works best for you.

Hi, when you first install Popup Begone V2.0 this is the first screen you will see.  By default, Enable Popup Begone is checked.

PROTECT LEVELS:   By default, it is set in the middle and we recommend this setting, however, if you move the slider to the Right on HIGH, it will stop ALL Popups.

Now there are some Popups you may want, so we have made it very easy to Enable Popup Begone and Disable.  Also we will talk about the Allow List to add sites too further down in this help.

HOW TO RECEIVE A POPUP YOU WANT!

Method #1 - Just press & hold the CTRL button while the webpage is loading with the Popup you want to see.

Method #2 - Just press CTRL + SpaceBar and that will disable Popup Begone and you can have full access to the popups on the site you are on and then just press CTRL + SpaceBar again after you are finished to turn Popup Begone back on.

Method #3 - Popup Begone is the small Red Icon near your clock.

Where you see that Red Circle near your computer clock, just right click on that circle and a Drop up Menu will appear and just click on Enable to Enable or Disable Popup Begone.

PREFERENCE SCREEN

THE PREFERENCE SCREEN

This screen pretty much explains itself.

By default in the FULL VERSION, we have diabled the "BEEP SOUND" so you can surf in SILENT MODE, but if you would like to hear a beep each time a Popup is stopped just put a check mark in that box.

Also on the MAIN SCREEN Right above
the OK BUTTON you will see:

You have been protected from (  ) Popups so far.

You can click on RESET POPUP COUNTER to
Reset that number back to ZERO.

LOG SCREEN

THE LOG SCREEN

By Default, there is a check mark in Don't use Logs.

So if you want to use the LOG feature and be able to see every website you visited, take the check mark out of that box and click OK.

The Log Feature can actually work with the
ALLOW LIST which you are about to learn about.

Say for example, you went to Yahoo.com and you wanted to play POGO Games while Popup begone was enable.  Instead of having to hit CTRL + Spacebar each time you wanted to play your Yahoo Pogo Games, you could just add that site to your allow list.

We recommend you double click on each URL you see for the website you want to receive popups on.

In other words, you can CLICK on CLEAR ALL.

Then go to Yahoo, go to your PoGo Game, etc and try to play a game.  Once you do that, you can then go to your LOG LIST and double click on every URL you see there.  That will send those URLs to the ALLOW LIST so you can have access to popups only from the site you allow.

ALLOW LIST SCREEN

THE ALLOW LIST SCREEN

The allow list allows you to put websites in it
that you want to receive popups from.

So that you are not always hitting CTRL +
Spacebar each time you go to a
website you visit often.

We recommend you use the LOG File as
mention above to add sites to your allow list.

Method #2:  You can just add the website
URL and click on ADD URL.

We dont' recommend this method because
the Popup may not be coming from that
website, but from a different service.

When you do the LOG FILE, you may see
5 URLs just for 1 website.  By double
clicking on all 5 URLs you are ensure you will
be able to receive popups from that site.
